I am pleased that one of my Beekeeper Portrait paintings has been included in the Long Island Public Arts Festival, hosted in Geiger Park in Deer Park, NY. The Long Island Public Arts Festival showcases a selection of curated artwork, photographed and printed on vinyl banners in 6-foot installations throughout the outdoor public park. My painting of Darcy will be on view from August 22-September 27, 2026.

The Long Island Public Arts Festival was founded through a two-year partnership between BACCA (Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts), Harper Bella, and Jose Tutiven, an initiative made possible by Creatives Rebuild New York. The festival was conceived as an accessible opportunity for artists across New York to showcase their work in a novel way, fostering community engagement and enhancing the local landscape. As the mid-summer anchor of their 2026 tour, LIPAF arrives at the newly revamped Geiger Park in Deer Park, NY where the curators are focusing on the intersection of public space and community education, highlighting the park's transformation through immersive installations.

LIPAF is expertly curated by the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts (BACCA) and Colored Colors, and supported by local town partners and sponsors including NYSCA New York State Council on the Arts, Town of Babylon, Suffolk County Economic Development and Planning, The Town of Babylon L.D.
